Who’s the new kid in Serangoon? Joji’s Diner is decked in a retro 90’s American-style inspired cafe with checkered black and white flooring, serving all-day breakfast, waffles, burger, rosti, milkshake and more!

You definitely can’t miss Joji’s Diner with such a long queue outside on a weekday afternoon. We reached about 12pm and waited for an hour before we were sitted. Joji’s Diner seems to be popular among the youngsters!

Similar to fast food concept, you have to order at the cashier. Noticed that Chicken & Waffle is almost on every table, we shall try that too!
Chicken & Waffle (S$12.90) is a classic southerner dish, layered with a thick and juicy fried chicken battered patty topped with a sunshine egg. The meat was decently tender coated in a crunchy seasoned coating which I felt was too salty to eat on its own. It is recommended to eat with the waffles.

Indulge in a triple cheese grilled sandwich (S$7.90) served on two slices of garlic toast and a side of tater tots. The combination of garlic and cheese is delicious and I love it!

How can we miss the milkshakes at Joji’s diner? For a full American dining experience, we have ordered Goldilocks (S$9.90) salted caramel milkshake and Big Bang (S$8.90) chocolate milkshake. The milkshakes are not as overly sweet as I thought of.

The menu is quite extensive and the prices at Joji’s Diner is quite affordable as compared to other American cafe. It is recommended to visit on a off-peak weekday to avoid the crowd!
