Luke’s Lobster Singapore has expanded into the East with its second shack now opened in Jewel Changi Airport.  Located at the ground floor of Jewel’s atrium, the 24-seater open concept shack sports more spacious seating areas (probably because of the suspended grill ceiling above). 

New on the menu is the Truffle Butter Lobster Roll ($30.50), an indulgent treat that is available till mid-March.  What you’ll get: four ounces of juicy Maine lobster claw in melted butter, wedged between toasty brioche buns slathered in mayo and topped with Italian black truffles.  This will first be exclusive to the Jewel shack for a limited time before being rolled out to the Isetan Orchard shack.

Wash down the brininess of the truffle lobster roll with ice-cold beer.  Every purchase of the Truffle Butter Lobster Roll will also entitle the diner to enjoy a pint of craft beer from Little Creatures IPA for $8.

Those who cannot make up their mind or just want to try a bite of everything can opt for the Luke’s Trio ($33.50) – a sampler set of one-half of each roll.  Get the best of maine lobsters, jonah crabs and shrimp that are drizzled in melted lemon butter and wedged between the delightful buttered brioche buns.   

Our only gripe would be that these rolls are on the smaller side so for those with a larger appetite, you might want to go for the sides – Clam Chowder or Lobster Bisque to fill you up.
