The Marmalade Pantry (Petite): New Sweet Treats and Gifting Options
Known for serving modern bistro cuisine, The Marmalade Pantry has recently introduced a new selection of sweet treats crafted by an in-house patissier and pastry team. Apart from their cakes, the Marmalade Pantry Petite Bugis has also refreshed its tart selection ($8.50 per tart) – Lychee Tart, Strawberry Pistachio Tart and Chocolate Salted Caramel Tart. Admittedly partial to tarts, I love Marmalade Pantry’s selection. Each tart features a buttery shortcrust pastry tart shell topped with fresh fruits and chocolate upon order. Do note that the tarts are exclusive to the Bugis outlet. From 1 July 2022, the Marmalade Pantry also extends its gifting range beyond gourmet options to artisanal scented candles. Available in two scents – Peony & Wild Freesia and Fig & Sandalwood, these eco-friendly soy and beeswax candles are presented in pastel pink and teal concrete jars in a knitted design topped with a wooden lid. You can consider getting the Scented Duo gift set ($80) consisting of two candles or the Botanical Bliss gift set ($98) featuring a choice of one candle and a Gold Moscato Tea Tin (80g). Each gift bundle comes packaged in The Marmalade Pantry’s scarlet red rattan woven handbag which makes for presentable gifting. Adding three new cakes to their collection – Berriolette Shortcake ($12 per slice, $90 for 1.5kg whole cake), Pandan Gula Melaka Cake ($11 per slice, $88 for 1.5kg whole cake) and Salted Biscoff Cheesecake ($12 per slice, $90 for 1.5kg whole cake), the Marmalade Pantry explores different flavours including one fitting for the upcoming National Day holidays. Afternoon teas are also available at the Marmalade Pantry outlets (Orchard, Downtown and Bugis). Do note that when dining in, the Afternoon Tea set is presented in a two-tiered stand with a selection of sweet and savouries such as earl grey swiss roll, purple yam macarons, cranberry chicken sandwiches and more!
