From 1 August to 31 October 2023, The Marmalade Pantry is celebrating Singapore’s birthday with a curated afternoon tea with locally-inspired sweet and savoury treats.

The Marmalade Pantry 02
The savoury selection includes Beetroot Rojak Shooter, Hainanese Chicken Quinoa and Coconut Cake with Sambal Prawn Mayo.  The Hainanese Chicken Quinoa is a “healthier” version of chicken rice, with a touch of lemongrass chilli.
The Marmalade Pantry 03
The Coconut Cake with Sambal Prawn Mayo is our favourite savoury.  It is akin to eating laksa on toast, lemak with a spicy kick. The shallots on top of the toast adds fragrance to it – we wish The Marmalade Pantry will sell this ala carte!
The Marmalade Pantry 04
From the sweets, you can expect Panna Cotta with Raspberry Coulis (so cute because these are colours of the National flag), Gula Melaka Mousse Cake and Pandan Cream Puff – very local flavours and well-executed.
The Marmalade Pantry 05
The best bit of this afternoon tea set is the Kueh Salat Petite Cupcake.  Imagine light, fragrant, pandan cream atop their signature cupcake base.  There is also mochi hidden inside, which gives a delightful chew.

Apart from these new heritage offerings, the Afternoon Tea set also comes with their signature crumbly scones and 2 savoury sandwiches (cranberry chicken and truffle egg mayo).  Pair all these food with a selection of Monogram tea.  The portion size of The Marmalade Pantry’s afternoon tea sets is just right so you don’t have to worry about not being able to have lunch or dinner.  Grab your favourite girl / guy pal or bring mum for a treat at the Marmalade Pantry this weekend!
