We visited on a Saturday morning to check out the space and also have brunch at Glow – an eatery that uses ingredients available at the SuperNature’s retail section.
SuperNature Glow 05
We had the Pumpkin Soup ($14) to begin.  Japanese pumpkin is roasted and sautéed with onions, garlic and vegetable stock before blending until smooth.  Freshly toasted sourdough bread is served with this sweet creamy soup.
SuperNature Glow 02
We also had the Mezze Platter ($15) to share.  Our choice of dips were the Chickpea Hummus, Baba Ghanoush (roasted eggplant and tahini) and a yoghurt-based dip.

Every mezze platter comes with organic vegetables and crackers.  I enjoyed this platter because of how fresh everything tasted and it ensures you get your daily dose of vegetables.
SuperNature Glow 06
From the salad bar section, we had the broccoli salad and rainbow slaw.  Both were light and refreshing.  The rainbow slaw comprises shaved cabbage, carrot, green apple and a honey mustard dressing.  The broccoli salad is a sweeter option, with the addition of green grapes to the broccoli florets and barley base.
SuperNature Glow 04
The Quiche Florentine ($15) came highly recommended and we can see why given how substantial it was.  Cheese lovers, this is for you.  The filling is made from a mix of organic ingredients – eggs, cream, spinach, shallots, comte cheese and organic feta.
SuperNature Glow 08
I also like the Salmon Cake ($18) – a mixture of salmon and dutch cream potatoes, mustard, spring onions and parsley shaped into patties and coated in flour, eggs and bread crumbs.  What you get is a crisp exterior and meaty interior.
SuperNature Glow 09
Those who prefer something lighter can go for the Beef Noodle Soup ($25).  Rice Noodles in beef broth (Asian style) and a generous serving of braised beef, and beef balls.
SuperNature Glow 10
It is hard to miss this Crispy Porchetta ($20) from the glass display.

We were told that the pork is sourced from Australia and the loin is roasted to a crisp, golden-brown crackling and served with a refreshing mix of sautéed pears, fennel and onions.

The selection of bakes rotate regularly and our pick that day was the Orange Almond Cake ($7), one of their bestselling gluten-free and dairy-free options.  I saw that a carrot and raisin loaf and will be back to try that during my next visit.

The supermarket boasts of a variety of goods that are not usually available in most mainstream supermarkets. The expansive range of items would certainly meet every household and nutrition need.

With Glow, SuperNature is a convenient destination to shop and eat – do check it out if you’re in the Dempsey area!
