Enjoy Eating House & Bar has launched a new set menu, Xiang Shou Set (S$98.88) featuring 6-course zi char dishes with a choice of homemade drink or unique local beer pairing.. As the name suggests, the chef wishes to deliver an ultimate satisfaction through their mod-sin cuisine. Some of the highlight dishes which include Luxe Miso Assam Grilled Ang Kar Prawns to Crab Meat Mee Kia with Truffle Egg. The meal started off with Trio of appetisers featuring Yu Sheng Ceviche, Braised Abalone with Ikura and Pitan Tofu.
We have enjoyed the soft tofu layered over pitan sauce and decently tender braised abalone with popping ikura. However, the yusheng ceviche tasted slightly fishy on our visit. Grilled Black Angus Tenderloin is packed with aromatic rempah served on lemongrass skewer. As comfort as it looks – Peranakan Bakwan Kepiting clear soup with tenderly hand-made pork and crab meatballs.Nicely marinated Miso Assam Grilled Ang Kar Prawns served on a bed of risotto alike porridge.You can’t help but to get attracted by the truffle scent of this Crab Meat Mee Kia with Truffle Egg. The noodles are cooked to al dente, don’t forget to toss well with the sauces.It’s not the end! The meal ended off with Enjoy Sweets – Chendol. The gula melaka sweetness is just right, not too sweet!
