Newly opened at Far East Square is the contactless, tech-driven bamboo bowls that focus on sustainable, healthy bowls with Asian inspired flavours. Presently, there are 8 different bowls (all of them come meat-free with the option of adding on protein or a change to low-carb). Pictured above is the Tokyo Bowl by Chef Justin Hammond, bamboo bowls’ Culinary Director. Brown rice and cut wakame is served with ramen egg, pickled kyuri and drizzled with teriyaki sauce. Diners have the option of adding Salmon Katsu and changing the carb to cauliflower rice.

The Singapore bowl is by Chef Keith Wan and Eugene Chan.  Thick laksa noodles with coconut curry and fresh veg, with the option of steamed house made prawn cake and low carb shirataki yam noodle.

bamboo bowls’ focus is on healthy and sustainable food.  Customers can place their orders through their mobile app and collect their bowls from the dedicated collection pod upon receipt of a notification.  Compostable bins are also installed in-store for the sustainable disposal of empty bowls.
