Media Tasting at Morton’s The Steakhouse

In conjunction with its 21st anniversary in Singapore, Morton’s has launched a limited edition seasonal menu with praise the kinds of this season. Cool off summer with the new Strawberry, Arugula and Goat Cheese Salad with a refreshing Greek yogurt dressing. Or a savoury sensation with Morton’s famous Nueske’s Bacon Steak, Soy Caramel with a rich, sweet soy caramel sauce with five spice powder, cracked five-peppercorn and soy sauce.

Plump tender sea scallops set atop the oyster mushroom in a base of sweetcorn, mini lobster meat bites and nicely sauteéd baby arugula. The scallops were firm to bite yet moist while the sweetcorn comes with a nice charred taste. This crustacean dish comes with a nice finishing caviar butter flavours. It’s hard to stop at one piece!

Seared Sea Scallops with Lobster & Caviar Butter at S$98.

Roasted Cauliflower with Romesco Sauce at S$28.

Definitely one of my favourite steaks in 2019 so far. Perfectly grilled steak that’s nicely browned and charred on the outside, juicy and flavourful inside.

12.oz Bone-in Filet Mignon at S$138.

Featuring three medallions of steak, the Prime New York Steak Flight, Certified Black Angus All-Natural, USDA Prime and Snake River Farm Premium Wagyu Strip. These steaks are decently tender and come with nice grilled marks that looked so beautiful alongside with a nice blue cheese fondue. Not a fan of blue cheese but this blue cheese fondue doesn’t have the strong scent that I dislike.

Prime New York Steak Flight at S$168.

Hot chocolate cake is a timeless dessert that you shouldn’t miss at Morton’s. The thick and rich chocolate hot lava encased in a thin crust isn’t your mainstream lava cake.

Morton’s Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake at S$36.
