Media Tasting at Hans IM GLÜCK German Burgergrill

Hans Im Glück is a beautiful place to dine at if you’re looking for a healthy and nutritious burger.  The extensive menu also means that there is something for everyone, from hearty salads to a wide variety of burger options (beef, chicken, vegetarian and vegan choices).  Head down to one of these aesthetic birch tree forests to tuck in one of their awesome burgers.


NATURBURSCHE – Hearty plant-based Moving Mountain patty with slide of gold vegan cheese and avocado cream.  The patty lived up to expectations and we felt that it is a must-try. Despite it being plant based, it was packed full of flavours and had sufficient bite to it.  

LANDGOCKEL – Grilled chicken breast with mushrooms. Mushrooms give the burger a woody, earthy taste, topped off with a sunny-side up egg.  Although the mushrooms were a good addition to the burger, the chicken breast was a tad on the dry side. However, the health-conscious would like it as there is minimal seasoning and oil.



Pair these burgers with delicious sides such as their signature sweet potato fries and salad with Asian dressing (for something lighter).  Wash everything down with a cooling Eistee Forest Berry and Cucumber thirst quencher. It was a refreshing drink to have as we sat by the quay during a mid-afternoon.
