Media Tasting at Monga Fried Chicken
Taiwan’s famous fried chicken brand Monga has opened its first ever outlet at Jurong East Mall, with Taiwanese celebrity Nono himself introducing the brand.
The Taiwanese fried chicken chain got its name from the Wanhua district of Taiwan, traditionally known as “Monga”. Using only fresh and not frozen chicken for their offerings, each extra thick chicken fillets are prepared exactly the same way in Taiwan using its trusted recipe.
Within the crust-like crunch, each slab of 2cm thick chicken breasts was well marinated, tender and juicy, served piping hot with 3 different flavors – The King which the original salt and pepper, Hot Chick which is chilli paprika powder hand-made from Anaheim peppers and The Taiker, which Japanese sauce and seaweed powder imported from Okinawa.
Other popular delectable bites include their Monga Nuggets, Fried Chicken Skin, Signature Fries and Sweet Potato Fries with Plum Powder.
To celebrate its grand opening in Singapore, Monga will be giving out free limited-edition Monga merchandise to the first 40 customers daily on the first 7 days of operations (28 Sep to 4 Oct 2019).
