Lennard Yeong (@lennardy) has collaborated with Yakiniku Go’s Head Chef Tetsuya Yoshida to create innovative meat bombs and diamond cut meat that are available at all Yakiniku-GO outlets for a limited time.

The Beef Bomb Set ($22.80 for 150g of meat) features little fistfuls of karubi beef slices wrapped around marinated garlic.  After a quick grill of the meat, you can either have it on its own with the subtle garlic flavour or dip it in the kosho ponzu dipping sauce (which we recommend) – which has tangy, sweet and savoury notes to add to the complexity of the dish.

The best part of ordering the beef set is the wagyu fat maze gohan served with it.  The rice is seasoned with wagyu fat and shio konbu – so fragrant!

For those preferring thicker slices of beef, there is the double dragon beef set ($20.80, 120g of meat).  You can expect double thick cut karubi beef from the diamond cut of the beef short plat, wrapped snugly around crunchy zucchini.

Pork lovers also have the equivalent of both types of meat.  The Pork Bomb Set ($21.80 for 150g of meat) features Duroc pork belly and served with shio konbu rice.  A thicker cut of Double Dragon Pork Set ($19.80 for 120g) is also available.
