Sushidan by Chef Hiroyuki Sato | Omakase from S$19.90
Sushi enthusiasts can look forward to the arrival of Sushidan, Japan’s Michelin-starred sushi concept, making its Singapore debut on 17 December 2025. The brand’s first overseas outpost is a casual extension of Hakkoku, led by Chef Hiroyuki Sato, former head chef of Michelin-starred Sushi Tokami. The Singapore outpost will be helmed by Chef Yusuke Kawana, a Tokyo-trained sushi master with over 28 years of experience, previously from Sushi Sato and Sushi Ayumu
Diners can enjoy à la carte sushi from $1.99 and a signature omakase from unbelievable $19.90, featuring the famed Red Shari made with Akazu vinegar and premium Akita rice, alongside fresh seafood sourced from Tokyo’s Toyosu Market, including daily air-flown salmon from Norway.
For a thoughtfully curated experience, Sushidan’s omakase sets start at $19.90, available in both raw and aburi styles. Each set includes three ochokodons, chawanmushi, and miso soup for a well-rounded meal. Here, we have opted for a more elevated option, the $29.90 omakase set highlights premium, seasonal seafood, reflecting the chef’s dedication to balance, purity, and Edomae tradition. We were served with a bowl of hot miso soup and appetiser upon seated. Unbelievable pricing with very decent quality sushi. When chutoro sushi is served, we were shocked. The salmon sushi was exceptional buttery and fresh. You can also expect chef in action in this omakase dining experience. It was a great experience without burning a hole in the pocket. You might be wondering if this omakase is filling?
Certainly, my girlfriend and I were very well-fed. Before we thought its the end of an omakase, the chef has served 3 bowls of mini dons. The ingredients are overflowing, you can barely see the rice below.
An additional prawn tempura handroll with wasabi sauce to end off the omakase. There is no time limit to this omakase. Every piece is crafted with meticulous attention, embodying the belief that true luxury is found in purity and restraint. Price point is definitely affordable, great to bring your whole family kampung to enjoy omakase conveniently located at Raffles City Shopping Centre.
