If there is one thing I always look for in an Italian restaurant, it is heart. Food that feels honest and comforting. Tutto does exactly that.
Tutto means “all, everyone, everything” in Italian, and that philosophy really comes through in the experience. This is Italian food made to be shared, enjoyed casually, and eaten often. Nothing fussy, everything thoughtful. The space feels lively and welcoming, and the prices make you want to come back again and again. Knowing it comes from the same Italian Singapore family behind Da Paolo gives it even more soul.
We started the meal the Italian way, with antipasti.
The Crocchette di Prosciutto were impossible not to love.Crisp on the outside, soft and creamy within, with savoury Parma ham and Grana Padano DOP bringing depth and saltiness. The Calamari Fritti were light and beautifully fried, not greasy, not heavy. Paired with lemon aioli, they tasted clean and fresh, something you would polish off in minutes. The Broccollini was a standout for the antipasti. Tossed with Tutto chilli oil and finished with garlic breadcrumbs, it was simple but full of flavour. Slight heat, crunch, and that satisfying bitterness from the greens. Then came the pastas, which are made fresh daily in house.
The Assassina Pasta fully deserves the attention it has been getting on social media. Spaghetti cooked directly in tomato and chilli until slightly charred, smoky, fiery, and unapologetically bold. Each bite had that addictive burn that makes you want just one more forkful. Tutto’s house made chilli oil really ties it together, adding complexity rather than just heat.If the Assassina is all fire and drama, the Gamberri Pasta is pure indulgence. Bucatini with wild Argentinian prawns and a rich prawn bisque, where those thick hollow strands cradle every bit of shellfish goodness. It is deep, luxurious, and satisfying. We also tried the Prosciutto Cotto e Funghi pizza. The dough is fermented for 72 hours and it shows. Light, airy, with just the right chew and crisp. Topped with cooked ham and mushrooms, it was a familiar flavour.Dessert had to be Tiramisu. Classic, balanced, and not overly sweet. Soft layers, good coffee flavour, and just enough richness to end the meal on a comforting note.
What stood out most at Tutto is how approachable everything feels. Pastas and pizzas start from $15, and the entire menu stays under $30, yet nothing feels cheap or rushed. Each dish reflects generational recipes, cooked with care and respect for ingredients.
Budget: $25 to $30 per person
