Media Tasting at Pizza Time
Pizza Time opened its doors last December with a whole new concept of offering quality Napolitana style pizzas and drinks at affordable prices.
This Italian pizza bar along Cuppage Terrace presents itself as a homely casual hideout perfect for family and friends gathering of all occasions. The owner themselves really love pizzas that they had a wood fire brick oven custom made and flown over directly from Napoli, Italy.
With everything made from scratch such as the pizza dough made from imported Italian flour, no wonder I loved that not-overly-thick smoky, chewy crust.
Easily a favourite among seafood lovers would be their popular Mentaiko Pizza. A cream-based Japanese fusion pizza with its lightly spicy cod roe, prawns, squids and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkled with fine strips of seaweed.
Another popular choice would be their tomato based Bismarck Pizza. It consists of mozzarella cheese, ham, mushrooms and egg which gave this pizza more moisture. I really enjoy pizzas that are slightly moist and not ‘dehydrated’.
Besides their pizzas, their menu also consists of a large range of pastas such as the Spaghetti Aglio Olio (cooked with fresh prawns, minced garlic and chilli) and Spaghetti Marinara (prawns and squid cooked in garlic tomato sauce.
Quench your thirst anytime with a glass or two from their beverage menu, ranging from mocktails, cocktails, wines as well as other alcoholic drinks.
Happy hour is 5-8pm daily. Selected pizzas at $10, selected pastas at $8 and selected sides at $6. Check with their staffs for more details of their happy hour drinks!
