ramadan-azur-crowne-plaza-03

Sedap-licious Ramadan Buffet at Crowne Plaza Changi Airport complete with succulent seafood delights (Flower Crabs, Mussels, Prawns, Clams), traditional Raya favourites and desserts inspired by local flavours eg. chilli crab ice cream. You can also expect Asian x Western cuisine specials including Whole Salmon with Laksa Gravy, Lamb Slab Biryani and Signature Satay-marinated Australian Beef Short Ribs.

My favourite dish of the night goes to the satay marinated beef short ribs. The flavorful satay beef rib is a thing of beauty. With a dark exterior bark giving away to tender juicy meat, no one can resist. I’m loving it and can’t help myself with a second serving.

The nice pink to the edge, medium rare, with a hint of smoky crust roasted beef ribeye. Also, not to miss firm and juicy tomatoes with a balanced flavour and sweet finish.

The buffet at Azur is available from 7 May to 30 June 2018.

The dinner buffet is priced from S$68++ with a Ramadan special of 30% off with every group of 10 adult diners.

Window on the Park at Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre

Thinking of bringing the family out for a sumptuous dinner this Ramadan, but not sure where to go? Window on the Park is having their yearly popular Ramadan themed buffet, bringing you authentic traditional Malay cuisine alongside a selection of Asian fare.

Amidst the wide array of selection at the buffet, 2 star dishes won our hearts. Simple and familiar to all, the Nasi Goreng Istimewa is a flavourful dish that warms the soul. Every mouthful packs a punch, thanks to the mixture of spices with a prominent hint of spiciness. This makes it the perfect dish to have for break fast.

Pair it with the Beef Rendang, the tender meat is juicy and lightly seasoned as it melts in your melt. Although the Rendang was not as spicy as we expected it to be, the dish is still a favourable combination that we (my muslim friend and I) find is close to home.

Both my plus one and I enjoyed all the other dishes that Window on the Park had to offer us, like the fresh seafood and sweet desserts. The food is really not to be missed! So hurry down with your loved ones for an evening of mouth-watering experiences, and enjoy a moment of togetherness this Ramadan. Shoutout to our muslim friends, Window on the Park has also attained their seasonal halal certification for the month of Ramadan.

The buffet at Window on the Park is available from 15 May to 14 June 2018.

Omoomodon

ramadan_omoomodon_01

Make the best of your meal with a fuss-free, pork-free and vegan option this Ramadan. I got attracted to the poster at the entrance with interesting rice/ noodle bowls including Ji-Ji Don, Moo-gogi, Bird’s Nest, Tank You Salmon, Fri-Date With Me and more! You can also “Build Your Own” don from the array of ingredients! The “food ticket system” is a fun and convenient way to order your food and make payment at the same time. Don’t forget the Play Area with the 5 sauces where you can mix and match. I’m loving Yuzu wasabi and homemade BBQ Mayo sauce with my tasty salmon and ji-ji don.

Prices are affordable from S$8.

All OMOOMO restaurants are halal-certified since March.
