The 50 Cents Fest is back again in 2017. If you have missed last year’s event, 1950s-themed fiesta.; you certainly can’t miss this year’s travel back to the golden era of 1980s Singapore. What’s the coolest thing? There is no inflation at The 50 Cents Fest, even after “30 years”. All food and drinks are priced from as little as 50 cents!!!

Visitors will be able to enjoy the wide variety of traditional dishes from the different dialect groups, including the Hokkien Rickshaw Noodle, UFO (Fried Oyster Cake), Hakka Abacus Seed, Teochew Ah Balling, Ice Ball and more! There are more than 20 stalls and 10 old-school mobile hawkers to look out for. Experience nostalgic eats in simple 1980s lifestyle where a snippet of Singapore’s 1980s street hawker and bazaar scene come alive.

What’s more? Enjoy a game of hopscotch in the side alley, make a surprise song dedication through an old radio station, go biscuit shopping with family at the mama shop and live Xin Yao performances!
