I’ve walked past CLOVE quite a few times when shopping at Raffles City, but have never gone in even though I’ve seen snaking queues around 12pm and 6pm when the restaurant opens for lunch and dinner.

I was most impressed by the selection of desserts (which I later found out were from the hotel’s award-winning team of pastry chefs).

My favourite part of the meal was dessert, with delectable choux puff with decadent chocolate cream oozing out, a variety of local kuehs (kueh ambon, ang ku kueh, kueh salat and more), chocolate fondue station and the most dreamy swiss warm chocolate cake.

It was a real treat for my sweet tooth and I felt like a kid lost in candy land.  So glad that I left enough stomach space for the sweets, which were tastefully done.  A shoutout to impeccable service at CLOVE that make guests feel at home with their friendly smiles.

They have an extensive selection of smoked fish and charcuterie, a seafood on ice station as well as a focus on Swiss specialties and flavours.

Don’t sleep on the Traditional Swiss Raclette Station with Cheese Fondue or the Kopitiam Noodle station, where you can create your own noodle dish with a huge variety of ingredients (think: seafood, prawn, fish and chicken balls) and different soup bases (laksa, chicken soup, prawn soup).
