For those looking for a twist to the traditional roast turkey, don’t miss out on the new Spiced Roasted Challans Duck with Kumquat Compote (1.8kg – S$92). This roast duck has tender and juicy meat, and it’s glazed giving the duck a beautiful roasted look. It is further enhanced with a tangy, citrus kumquat compote. The citrus compote seems to cut through any fattiness, yet it remained sweet, unlike lemon.

Delightful festive feast dine-in at Perch! There are a number of favourites from this list. The meal started off with Italian chopped salad with lots of crunchy vegetables, pecorino cheese, crispy prosciutto and appetising dressings. The innocent looking spring chicken doesn’t look promising but it’s one of my favourite main dishes. Perfectly tender chicken with flavours like thyme. The wagyu was slightly tough to my liking. The vegan walnut brownie log cake is a surprise with a burst of citrusy.

Reminiscent of the traditional Italian Christmas. Indulge in 3-course lunch or luxurious 5-course dinner. Start the meal with Spiced Walnut and Ricotta Crostini followed by Endive and Persimmon Salad. Followed by the first hot course with an option of Tortellini En Brodo or Beetroot & Goat Cheese Ravioli. The flavours of these ravioli are well-balanced; earthy Swiss Chard, sweet glaze of beetroot and tart yet creamy goat cheese. In this main course, get to choose between Brasato Al Barolo or Caramelised Kabocha Squash Risotto. The depth flavour and the richness of the braised beef short ribs accompanied with polenta that deserves just as much love. Finally, end off with Dark Chocolate Ricotta Yule Log. The candied chestnut cream is highly addictive.
