Media Tasting at Lady Wu

Lady Wu, a new modern Asian rooftop bar that has just opened their doors in Singapore this month. Chill with your friends over some drinks and bar bites with a bilingual Mandarin and English live music and panoramic view of Singapore’s Central Business District. Get the private karaoke room for a big party up to 20 pax and belt out the tunes. I also like their LED menu, perfect when the night falls! The name suggests, Lady Wu, is inspired by Empress Wu Zetian China’s Only Female Ruler. So yay! Ladies get to enjoy special privileges like 1 for 1 drinks from Monday to Friday, 5PM to 8PM. Gentlemen don’t be disappointed, you also get to enjoy 1 for 1 oyster every Monday!

Rich and creamy salted egg sauce coated thickly over fried chicken wings. There are some chopped chilli padi thrown in adding a little spicy kick to this dish.

Salted egg wings at S$12.

Each plump dumpling is filled with minced pork wrapped in tortellini that makes you feel full and satisfied. A spot on balance of homemade red oil and vinegar making it appetising and tasty.

Pork Dumpling at S$10.

My favourite of the night goes to wagyu beef cubes!!! The wagyu cubes with crushed black pepper sauce are deliciously torched that make every bite marvellously flavourful, tender and juicy. And can you believe it? 180 grams wagyu beef at only S$18. It’s a super value for money deal.

Grab a piece of chicken together with dried chilli and Sichuan peppercorn for a complete indulgence. Beneath the sweet and spicy taste, comes with a slight sesame fragrance.

Kung Po Chicken at S$12.

Chunky and decadent lobster on a bed of fluffy fried rice with distinct, individual grains.

Lady Wu’s Signature Lobster Fried Rice at S$22.

Cocktails starting from S$15.

Good and affordable food with a wide range of drinks selection. However, the drink pricing might be a little pricey as compared to the nearby bars.
