From crispy fried vermicelli, braised abalone, salmon, shredded purple and yellow sweet potatoes, shredded kailan leaves, shredded fried pickled ginger, sliced red and green capsicums, fresh ginger, pickled Japanese radish, cucumber, sesame, peanuts to youtiao, there are so many flavours going on in Abalone & Salmon with Gold Foil Lo Hei in ‘Shun De’ Style. What I enjoyed most in this dish is the crispy fried vermicelli, they’re fried only upon order. Next, will be the braised Australian abalone which is braised for at least 6 hours in a superior stock.

It’s hard to find food prepared in the traditional way these days! There’s a lot of work behind Braised Spring Chicken with Ibérico Pork Rolls & Abalone in Pot. Braised Spring Chicken is prepared using traditional goose web, then deep-fried and steamed. It’s truly tender, moist and falls off the bone. Topped with nicely grilled and braised Ibérico pork belly rolls and whole abalone with fried fish maw, fried oysters and shiitake mushrooms.

Pan-fried sea cucumber stuffed with Kurobuta Pork, Black Moss, Chinese Iron Yam and Scallion. The pan-fried sea cucumber soaks up all the flavourful braising sauce. The kurobuta pork is soft such that it almost melt in your mouth. Not forgetting the accompaniments, crunchy and toasty iron yam and crispy fried scallions that leave a sweet flavour once caramelised and adds an extra texture to this CNY dish.

Savour Yun Nans Prosperity Treasure served in a black earthen pot filled with charcoal in the middle. This is definitely a treasure pot filled with hearty ingredients including superior abalone, sea cucumber, scallops, prawns & many more! As we tucked into the pot, you can see dancing flames from the burning charcoal, keeping the gravy and ingredients warm. Also, available for takeaway or delivery for a cozy meal at home.

Nian gao with real durian is always welcome. What’s even better? They are made from bitter-sweet Black Gold Mao Shan Wang Durian separated by layers and layers of soft nian gao. You just can’t get enough of this! Prosperity Durian Gold Bar (S$128.88) makes a good option as a gift to your loved ones too.
