Media Tasting at Kumoya Orchard Central | Rilakkuma – The Relax Cafe
Being a Kumoya fan for years at Jalan Klapa , we had the pleasure to check out the new outlet at Orchard Central spanning 2000 sq ft. with 70 seats. This kids-friendly pop-up cafe featuring fun vibes, kawaii decor and food design to welcome Rilakkuma and friends.
It’s hard not to notice the specially-imported Rilakkuma merchandise at the entrance.
Kids get exceptionally excited with the exclusive private room filled with Rilakkuma plush of all sizes. Pssst, adults can’t help snapping OOTD in this private room too!

The ever kawaii Rilakkuma fluffy teriyaki rice topped with assorted tempura vegetables, tempura salmon, tempura chicken, Tamago and miso soup. Not sure if you’ve noticed, the culinary team has paid attention to the small details. The tamago and miso soup tofu are in Rilakkuma outline. My nephew and I have enjoyed the fluffy teriyaki rice. Not too sweet, and certainly not too salty. The tempura may be oily but decently tasty.

I’ve ordered salmon rice for my nephew. The same teriyaki rice is served with two slices of large and thick grilled salmon and garden salad. The salmon is tender and flaky. My nephew finished off the tasty teriyaki rice within few minutes!
