Media Tasting at Mr Men and Little Miss Pop-up Cafe

Kumoya had a fresh makeover to welcome Mr Men and Little Misses with a touch of “Singaporean-ness” into the theme. Also, Little Miss Princess all dressed up in Sarong Kebaya at the photo booth. Expect some local flavours in the new menu including Mr Bump Knock-out Nasi Lemak, Mr Strong Chilli Crab Pasta, Hand-cut Fries with house-made Chilli Crab Sauce, Tempura Mackerel Otah with Sambal Mayo, Mr Bump Pow-Wow Pandan Sponge Cake, Chendol Gula Melaka Frappe and more!

Mr Bump Nasi Lemak is packed with so many ingredients including butterfly pea flower coconut rice (bandaged with popiah skin), tempura sambal prawns, fried chicken, crunchy walnut and anchovies. And that’s not all, it is accompanied by colourful keropok, potato croquette and ramen egg. Be sure to eat it quickly as the coconut rice may get cold and it hardens.

Pink beetroot macaroni pasta served with tasty beef meatballs, turkey ham in rose shape and healthy steamed broccoli. And the most kawaii ingredients go to the cute carrot crown and princess!

Power lift the noodles and tuck into chilli crab pasta with crunchy tempura soft-shell crab, garden salad, tomato confit, crunchy keropok and finished with cute cheese stars. The chilli crab sauce was not so spicy and more toward savoury.

Mr Bump pandan sponge cake with gula melaka frosting completed with “bandages” and accompanied by freshly churned Hokkaido soft serve, nata de coco, kidney beans, sweet corn, cotton candy with magic stars sprinkles with an extra gula melaka shot. Not a fan of the sponge cake, it’s hard on texture and not spongy at all.
