Marriott Cafe’s Durian High Tea Buffet is back in June and July 2018! Durian lovers will be delighted with 8 different creations of durian pastries and desserts handcrafted with premium mao shan wang and D24 durians. That’s not all, get ready to feast on more than 50 Singapore local and international dishes eg. freshly shucked oysters, laksa, briyani, dim sum, sandwiches, chocolate fondue and more!

What to expect durian pastries and desserts:

▫️Durian Mousse Cake: Fluffy light mousse with D24 durian flesh, sponge cake and whipping cream.

▪️Baked Durian Strudel: Golden brown flaky strudel packed with durian mousse and cream fillings.

▫️Durian Creme Brûlée Tartlet: Bite size tart with smooth durian custard encased in a buttery tart shell. It’s one of our favourite treats!

▪️Glutinous Rice with Durian & Coconut Cream: Soft and sticky glutinous rice with coconut cream and bittersweet durian puree.

▫️Durian Bread & Butter Pudding with Coconut Sauce: Luscious D24 durian puree sandwiched between durian custard and brioche slices.

These refreshing freshly shucked oysters are the perfect side for a bowl of salad on a hot summer day. While my friend can’t help with more servings of the fresh prawns.

There are a decent number of Singapore flavours including live station laksa, bak but teh, hokkien mee, oyster omelette, chicken rice, curry chicken and more!

How can you miss out Marriott Cafe’s laksa live station? Simply pick your choice of noodles, ingredients (beansprout, prawns, sliced fishcake, laksa leaves, sambal chilli) for your laksa and the friendly chef will be there to cook for you. Enjoy hot, fragrant laksa gravy with fresh prawns and other condiments! I’m glad that the laksa gravy isn’t too spicy. For chilli lover, you may wish to add more chopped chilli or sambal chilli.

Besides the durian pastries and desserts, you can also look forward to a chocolate fountain and an assortment of kueh.
