In celebration of Singapore’s 53rd year of independence, Creamery Boutique Ice Creams has launched 2 new desserts that will trigger your tastebuds!
The Ondeh Ondeh Cookie with Butter Scotch Ice Cream (S$8.90, suggested pairing with Milo Dinosaur Ice Cream), brings back a taste familiar to all. The flavour of the Ondeh Ondeh was so perfectly recreated in the form of their ever tasty cookie, made better with Gula Melaka sauce and freshly grated coconut. Every spoonful was so heart warming, with the soft Ondeh Ondeh cookie melting in the mouth, pairing perfectly with the Butter Scotch Ice Cream. This dessert was not too sweet to enjoy, and it definitely will be loved by both the young and old.
If you’re feeling adventurous with your tastebuds, the Chilli Crab Lava Cookie with Baby Milk Ice Cream (S$10.90, suggested pairing with Brit Pop Bacon & Eggs Ice Cream) is the one for you. A chewy brownie filled with Chilli Crab gravy, a unique mixture of sweet chocolate and spicy chilli lava. Featuring the first ever savoury lava cookie, the Chilli Crab gravy was really on point. Every spoonful packs a punch, this savoury dessert is definitely worth a try. This is recommended for sharing as dessert might get jelat, and this is also not for those who cannot take spicy food.
