Mr Softee is an ice-cream van in Hong Kong. The alias is Mobile Softee. Mr Softee uses the popular and exemplary “Blue Danube” melody to attract crowd. So, once you hear this “Blue Danube” melody, you’ll know that Mr Softee is just nearby. Not only you have to queue for food in Singapore, you’ll also have to queue for Mr Softee ice-cream in Hong Kong. The soft ice-cream costs HKD8 (SGD1.40). Mr Softee also accepts octopus card payment if you do not have any loose coins or notes.
Although there are four types of ice-cream, namely soft ice-cream, nutty drumstick, Large Cups and Jumbo Orange. You’ll see most of the people grabbing onto Mr Softee original soft ice-cream on the street.
