PasarBella interior design is a composition of the quirky and rustic of Covent Garden in London. Bonheur Patisserie is situated in PasarBella at The Grandstand Bukit Timah. It is the very first shop on the left inside of PasarBella. Looking at the directory, there are many exciting restaurants or cafes to explore in PasarBella.
Bonheur Patisserie, means Happiness Confectionery in French. They also have a very sweet tagline which is “It’s the little things that make you smile”. They are 100% handmade, each macaron has a well defined taste.
By offering more than 30 flavours of handmade macarons ranging from classical flavours like Rose, Salted Caramel and Pistachio to Asian flavours like Seasalt Gula Melaka, Thai Iced Tea and Yuzu. More flavours such as Matcha, Strawberry, Vanilla, Cookies and Cream, Melon, Peanut Butter. And also wine flavours such as White Grape, Baileys, Rum and Raisins. Or pick a packet of Peach Nutella One Set at $10.
You can definitely pick something from your preference.
The regular sized macaron cost from S$3 to S$3.50. And the adorable cartoon macaron cost S$4.50.
The macaron is also bigger than others. Quite value for money. It also looks good as a gift with all the adorable designs and flavours that your friend or family might like.
The purpose of my visit was to accompany my friends. Not intending of getting anything sweets. I’m someone who would try to distance from any sweets. However looking at these adorable cartoons character and wine flavour macarons have totally break my resistance to sweets. Surprisingly, out of my expectation, it does not have high sweet level. It tastes soft and pleasantly slight sweetness in each macaron. A little disappointment as I did not see my favourite Sanrio character, Hello Kitty.

As this is our first visit, my friends spent some time at the shop deciding on which macarons to buy while I spent on photography. I have also requested for plates as we dine in at PasarBella, but was given paper plate. And I also feel that the service crew was kinda impatient for our order. Kindly note that there is no queue behind us. Well, for the goodness of these delicious macarons, it’s worth a second visit.
