The relaunch of alfresco space at District 10 is an ideal spot to relax with friends or colleagues over gorgeous wines, steaks, kinds of pasta and appetizers menu while keeping European culinary roots where Chef Luca Pezzera belongs. Expect premium Italian black truffles with a decadent twist this Christmas! The secret to tender and flavourful turkey leads to a long process of marination with olive oil, truffle and various herbs like rosemary, thyme and parsley. Then oven-roasted for 1 hour and 20 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius. Another insider tip from Chef Luca if you wish for a sizzling crispy texture and colour is to remove the foil at the last tenth-minute mark. The turkey is served with tasty Brussel sprouts and chestnut bread and brand-exclusive black truffle sauce.

The Premium Truffle Turkey (4-5kg) at S$188++. Recommended sharing among 8-10 guests. Available for order from 21 November to 19 December 2018. The last order is on 19 December 2018, and the collection will be from District 10 UE Square’s flagship restaurant for the turkey.

HE Bistro and Bar has launched a festive set which includes a 3-course meal and 2 complimentary drinks at $58+ per pax. The festive set will be available on 21,22,24,25,28,29 and 30 Dec 2018 from 12pm to 10pm.

Start off the meal with Hendrick gin and tonic S$10 and Pink Sakura which comes in a beautiful glass flask, straw as well as petals in it. Pink Sakura will be given out to ladies FREE every Tuesday on ladies night. Followed by Prawn Bisque Soup with Shrimp Wanton has pretty bold umami taste with a single shrimp wanton at its centre. The portion could have been more.

Bacon Chicken Roulades with Mushroom Ragu. Bacon, tender chicken, wrapped around spinach that goes pretty well with the mushroom ragu, accompanied with baby asparagus and mash potato.

Alternatively, for beef lovers, Braised Beef Cheeks with Brussel Sprouts, Mash Potato, Mushrooms and Carrots. The beef cheeks were nicely braised, tender yet tasty and the accompanying sauce compliments it well.

The Creme Brulee came in a petite ramekin, topped with sour chopped strawberries. The custard beneath the layer of hardened caramelized sugar wasn’t too heavy and I would not mind a larger serving.
