Media Tasting at Farmers and Chefs
Looking for a cafe with relaxing layback setting under a canopy, filled with greenery and rustic wooden crafts? Farmers and Chefs is set right before the entrance of Singapore Conference Hall. Foodies who are working around the area are in for a range of hearty and healthy range of breakfast, mains, lunch bowls, organic pastas. Farmers and Chefs is a locally owned cafe, focuses on crafting food from scratch without flavour enhancers, artificial colouring, and also a strictly no deep-frying rule. The rustic wooden crafts are too pretty to be missed! I’ve even bought an unique wood piece home. Featuring the crowd favourite, The Farmer’s Breakfast with tender meat, creamy scrambled egg and salad, set on top of a layer of crispy rosti.
Aglio olio pasta with a generous servings of crunchy prawns and garlic. And not forgetting, Pomodoro that will please the kids with lots of sweet tomato and parmesan cheese.
Think of tender and well marinated chicken thigh in homemade teriyaki sauce. Break that yolk and get messy with the assorted vegetables in this teriyaki chicken bowl!
Beautifully plated kurobuta pork loin with assorted vegetables for the colours. The meat was slightly more chewy, there wasn’t much taste that comes with it.
Pssst, the prices are affordable! Lunch bowls and ala carte dishes are ranged from S$9-18. The relaxing vibe at Farmers and Chefs is definitely one of the gems! Get a closer touch with the nature as there is no air conditioning here!
